With a diverse and extensive background in nursing, education, and leadership, I bring over two decades of experience spanning clinical practice, teaching, and healthcare consulting. My career has encompassed roles in perioperative and perinatal nursing, travel nursing, and academic instruction, reflecting my adaptability and expertise in various healthcare settings.
As a registered nurse, I have worked across Canada in high-acuity environments, specializing in labor and delivery, post-anesthesia care, and operating room nursing. My experience includes scrub and circulating roles in a wide range of surgical specialties, as well as leadership responsibilities such as orienting new staff, precepting students, and serving as a charge nurse.
Beyond clinical practice, I have contributed to nursing education as a sessional instructor at multiple institutions, designing and delivering curriculum in both theoretical and clinical settings. Additionally, my role as Chief Education Officer at Hippo Hub allowed me to lead curriculum development and project management for online healthcare education.

My responsibilities included meeting with new clients, overseeing project implementation, developing innovative educational solutions to enhance healthcare training, as well as working with clients to develop and implement customized education plans and programs.

As a sessional instructor in the RN program at the University of Calgary, I was responsible for delivering clinical instruction, teaching lab skills, and conducting lab evaluations. I guided nursing students in orthopedic and general surgery clinical placements, providing hands-on mentorship and fostering critical thinking in patient care. My role emphasized practical skill development, student assessment, and the integration of theory into clinical practice.

As a sessional instructor in the Practical Nursing program at Bow Valley College, I provided instruction in clinical, theory, and lab settings I guided students through hands-on learning experiences in orthopedic, cardiac, internal medicine, urology, and neurology clinical placements.
